Runners
Roost Run Clubs are great groups to run with at the different store
locations during the week. The Runners Roost Run Club Aurora meets on
Sunday mornings at 8 for runs of any distance into Cherry Creek State
Park. Most of the group typically does 10 or more miles. This is a
really great place to get in your weekly long run with friends and
refreshments are provided by the Roost afterwards. They also
feature various vendors each week with gear trials
and give-aways - come join us!
Track Etiquette Reminder
Remember to move to the right lanes
when slowing down during recovery turnarounds and especially when you hear
"Track" called by a faster runner behind you. We want to make
sure everybody has a safe and productive workout and that nobody
gets run over - ouch! Please respect other runners as we are all
here to support each other and have fun too. Also, try to stay with your pace group
during the workout. If you're feeling faster than your group
after starting then it's fine to move up to a faster group
during the workout. Likewise, it's also perfectly OK to drop
back to a slower group if you're feeling slower or tired during
the course of the workout. The idea is to stay with a group so
the track doesn't end up getting scattered with a lot of
individuals dodging each other!
